Interfaces
Intelligent and seamless interfacing to the outside world is the key to success in many intercom applications.
The Artist platform is an open world of communications. Dedicated interface solutions let you communicate with telephones, digital and analog partylines, camera intercoms, 2-way radios and other analog and digital systems.
Panel & Matrix Interfaces
PMX-2004 SFP Panel Multiplexer
- PMX-Series panel multiplexers are used to remotely connect intercom panels from Artist matrix.
- Supports up to four panels (eight for PMX-2008) via fibre link.
- Distance capabilities depend on SFP module (Single- and Multi-Mode): Up to 2 km (1.2 miles).
- Cost-effective solution.

CPX-AVB AVB-Expansion Card for Artist 1100er Control Panels
- CPX-AVB interface card integrates Artist-1100 series OLED panels into AVB networks.
- Converts control panel into an AVB enabled device.
- Converts 2 Artist ports to AVB network and vice versa.
FBI Fiber Interface Adapter
- Converts Artist panel port from CAT5 to fiber bidirectionally.
- Enables long-distance operation of Artist control panels.
- Supports bidirectional transmission of AES3 signals.
- Realized distances up to 2 km (1.24 miles) using duplex Multi-Mode fiber.
CIA Coax Interface Adapter
- Converts Artist panel port from CAT5 to 75ohm Caox and vice versa.
- Adapts Artist matrix port to existing infrastructure.
- Useful for OB-vans and mobile applications.
- Supports distances up to 500 m (0.3 miles) using 0.8/4.9 video cable.
DCA-1000 Coax Expander
- Expands the possible length of coax links.
- Doubles the standard maximum distance of Coax link between Artist control panel and Artist frame from 500 meters (0.31 miles) to 1,000 meters (0.62 miles).
XLR-Patch 8 Port CAT5/XLR Patch
- Adapts RJ45 (CAT5) sockets to standard XLR 3-pin sockets.
Network Interfaces
NSA-001D
- Utilizes existing IP infrastructures for 1000 and 1100 series intercom panels.
- Handles all bi-directional signal conversion between AES3 and AES67.
- Plug-and-play device with multiple mounting options.
- Power can be supplied externally or via PoE.

NSA-002A

- Combines 2 independent analog POTS telephone hybrids or VoIP audio codecs (G.711 or G.722) in a half-rack/1RU device.
- Enables dialing, making, and receiving calls to/from any PSTN, VoIP, or mobile phone directly or via connected SmartPanel.
- Advanced signal processing ensures optimal audio quality.
- Automated echo cancelling suppresses line echoes from both analog lines and callers’ phones.

- ISDN BRI/S0 interface with 2 independent ISDN B-channels.

- Saves rack space and eliminates the need for additional equipment.
- Provides enhanced flexibility for intercom installations.
- Enables dialing, making, and receiving calls to/from PSTN, VoIP, ISDN, mobile phones, and G.711/G.722 reporter codecs.
- Allows remote key panel access via ISDN when used with Artist and Tango intercom systems.

RiFace G2 – Universal Radio Interface
- Connects wired communication systems with walkie-talkie style radio systems.

JUGGLER Integrated TETRA Radio System for Artist Intercoms
- Integrates TETRA digital trunked radio networks into wired intercom matrix.
- Provides intelligent integration between TETRA radio groups and Riedel Artist intercom ports.
- Allows calls from any Artist port/group/conference to up to 64 individual TETRA radio groups and vice versa.
- Connects TETRA Base Station Controller to Riedel Artist system via MADI.
- Compatible with any TETRA-standard compliant subscriber.
