Bolero S Ensures Referee Communications for German Bundesliga
Riedel Communications launched its Bolero S wireless intercom to ensure crystal-clear referee communications in the German Bundesliga. Developed under Riedel’s Managed Sports Services framework, the VOX-operated beltpack and lightweight headset deliver hands-free, high-reliability voice links between referees, assistants, and VAR centers across all 306 matches this season.

Riedel’s Bolero S, deployed with NEP as a managed service, powers the SFL’s 2019/20 VAR program across all 182 Raiffeisen Super League matches, using two stadium antennas, seven beltpacks, and MediorNet and Artist infrastructures for crystal-clear, voice-activated wireless communications between on-field officials and the remote video operation center.
Riedel Intercom System Enables Clear, Remote Referee/VAR Communications for Royal Belgian Football Association
Riedel partnered with EMG to deploy Bolero wireless and Artist digital matrix intercom systems, enabling crystal-clear communications between Jupiler Pro League referees and remote VAR officials at the RBFA’s Proximus Basecamp VAR Replay Centre. The MPLS network connects stadium kits nationwide, ensuring reliable voice links and support for concurrent matches.
