Great talking to you! - Post IBC 2018

Riedel Communications is looking back on five successful days at IBC 2018: five days filled with inspiring discussions about the future of broadcast and live productions, initiations of new ambitious projects and partnerships – and thrilling foosball matches. We are very excited about the opportunities that have arisen in Amsterdam and are more than happy with your overwhelming interest in our technologies.

Besides our new products and projects, one major attraction at IBC was our Beat the Champ foosball competition with numerous guests stepping up to the challenge. Our champ Maria Pader, however, remained undefeated. Still, everybody had a reason to celebrate, as all were invited to join the opening party of our new Beijing office with a cold bottle of Tsingtao – or with what was unanimously called “THE best coffee of the IBC”.

But of course, the true stars of our stand were our new products:

RSP-1232HL SmartPanel

Visitors at #10.A31 were some of the first to put their hands on our new RSP-1232HL SmartPanel and experience its exceptionality in terms of workflow flexibility, power and connectivity. The first installment of the 1200 SmartPanel Series is the result of an intense two-year research and development effort – and is our smartest SmartPanel yet! Many of you got the chance to play around with RSP-1232HL’s intuitive multifunctional interface and to admire the crystal-clear audio quality of its stereo, phase-coherent speakers in our Riedel Phone Booth.

Managed Sports Services

Managed Sports Services are our answer to the increasing technical requirements of today’s and future sports productions. They consist of custom-engineered solutions tailored to the needs of the most demanding productions, paired with extensive service and supervision by our qualified engineers – on site or remotely. Already having provided customized solutions for Formula 1, DTM, or Red Bull Air Races, the latest addition to our MSS-portfolio is the German Bundesliga: From this season onwards, customized Bolero units will ensure bulletproof communication between the referee, his assistants and the Video-Assist Center.

IP App and Processing App for MicroN

After last year’s successful launch of our IP App for MicroN – which creates a seamless bridge between MediorNet and IP networks – at IBC 2018 we proudly presented our fifth MicroN app: The brand-new Processing App for MicroNadds de-centralized and powerful processing capabilities to MediorNet infrastructures, allowing processing hardware to be placed anywhere it’s needed, and thereby greatly reducing network complexity.

We still got a lot to talk about… so meet us at our next shows or contact us

We are looking forward to seeing you at NAB 2019!
