Ukraine’s Largest Concert Hall Modernized with Riedel’s Performer Stage Management / Intercom System

ComTel, Ukrainian supplier of broadcast and communications system solutions, modernized the internal intercom system and communication network of the country’s largest concert hall, the palace of arts "Ukraine" in Kiev. ComTel has selected a Riedel Performer 32-80 digital matrix intercom system as basis of communication network.

At the first stage of the project the system features a 24х24 ports matrix, integrating four independent digital partylines, eight intercom control panels as well as eight analogue audio ports. For the control panels ComTel selected a mix of desktop and rack-mount versions of Riedel’s Artist 2000 series LCD control panels. The partyline intercom is based on Riedel’s Performer digital partyline series. The connection of the digital partyline intercom to the matrix is made by a Performer C44 system interface which supplies the beltpack-lines with voltage and allows for the seamless integration of the partyline system with the matrix environment. Unlike analogue partyline systems Riedel’s digital 2-channel beltpack features digital audio quality and allows for flexible and convenient configuration via drag-and-drop in Riedel’s configuration software ‘Director’.
