Riedel Communications Expands its Distribution Network

Riedel Communications, Germany-based manufacturer of advanced digital intercom systems, has just expanded its international distributor network with new partners in the Netherlands, France and Norway.

In the Netherlands NMcs will represent Riedel’s full line of products including Artist digital intercom matrix and Performer digital partyline systems. “I’m looking forward to develop Riedel’s presence in the Netherlands. I’m very confident that broadcasters and OB Van companies will realize the workflow and performance benefits that Netherland’s National Broadcaster NOB generates from their Artist installation in Hilversum”, said Wil Cordfunke, Managing Director of NMcs. NOB has installed a large Artist intercom installation in their new facilities in Hilversum in April 2005.

For France Riedel appointed its Belgium partner Apex Audio, who recently opened a branch office in Paris. “Apex has invested heavily in education and training for the configuration and maintainance of Riedel systems”, said Paul Rivens, International Sales Director with Riedel Communications. “They are qualified to offer our systems on a full service level.”

In Norway broadcast and production specialist 2mtv will distribute Riedel’s product line. First success: Norway’s national broadcaster NRK chose Riedel for their new broadcasting studios in Oslo.
