Telex Sales Manager joins Riedel

Wuppertal/Germany (January 19th 2005). Paul Rivens (42), Telex Sales Manager EAME for many years, will join Riedel Communications on February 1st. As Sales Director he will be responsible for all International sales of the German wireless and intercom manufacturer. With this recruitment the company reinforces its continuous strong growth in the International markets.

“After 22 years in the Broadcast industry I am delighted to be joining Riedel. My appointment comes at pivotal time in the growth of the company, providing us with exciting opportunities for the future”, says Rivens.

Sales management for Germany, Austria and Switzerland will remain the responsibility of Riedel’s national sales office in Berlin.

Riedel keeps on growing
Riedel announces a 40 per cent increase in turnover for 2004. This illustrates the success of the company’s restructuring, which started a year ago. The company recently received several new orders, among them Danmark Radio, BBC, ZDF and WDR. In 2005 Riedel also anticipates strong growth.

“Our order book is at its highest since the establishment of the company, and our forecast for 2005 tops everything we ever had before. That goes equally for all areas of our business”, says Thomas Riedel, President of Riedel Communications.

Restructuring continues
The restructuring of Riedel continues as planned and reflects the strong growth of the company. With the consolidation of all central divisions at the German headquarter in Wuppertal, the company aims to optimise its business processes.
